These volumes are part of a series that consists of the official record of the cases brought before the Alabama Supreme Court. This particular case deals with the appeal of the conviction of Albert Fuller for the murder of Albert Patterson, candidate for Alabama Attorney General, on June 18, 1954. This case was appealed from the Circuit Court of the Tenth Judicial Circuit of Alabama. These volumes include the trial transcripts of the original Circuit Court trial in 1955 as well as of the appeal to the Supreme Court in 1958-1959. A record of who was involved in the case and any exhibits that might have been introduced as evidence is also included.

Walter B. Jones was the son of Alabama governor (1890-1894) and U.S. District Judge, Thomas Goode Jones.
